As a result of a discussion of the board of directors of Taha Law Firm, we
decided to open a website. Maybe it’s a bit too late because we should have
already opened it a long time ago, to be ready to give the following services:
Our firm could give and provide all laws and legislations which concern Iraq from
1963 up to 2003. it’s all recorded and we are ready to send the laws and
explanations and comments about the laws on request and we are also ready to
answer any unspecified questions about the laws.
Secondly as my office started in 1992 and I inherited the office from my late
father who was a syndicate of lawyer for 3 decades and whose office was
established in 1931, I have the library of mostly all the laws which were issued by
the English occupation during the reign of King Faisal the first. No doubt all this
could be in your hand and we are in a position to send you any information or
reply to your enquiry about it.
Thirdly, I have already written nearly 1000 comments about Iraqi commerce and
company laws as well as laws of registering branch of a company in Iraq. It’s all
available in my office in Baghdad and could be reached any time we want.
Because of our great experience, my office is ready to answer any questions
and provide any laws needed whether in English or Arabic, and if there is no
English I could translate it to English and also we could obtain laws of other Arab
countries.
We assure you that we were in the pentagon for some time to work as a
consultant for the minister of justice, so I am aware of the laws issued by Paul
Breamer. I have a copy of these laws in my files. Our office is ready to accept
permanently any client for a reasonable fees or we charge on the time for a
enquiry.
